ELDORADO AC-12 ACID CLEANER ELDORADO AC-12 is a liquid, viscous acid cleaner for use on aluminum aircraft surfaces. PROPERTIES 1. Preclean surfaces with Eldorado ED-500 to remove heavy greases and oils. Prevent contact of AC-12 with glass and high-strength steel by masking. Working from bottom to top to avoid streaking, apply AC-12 and allow to remain in contact with the surface for 1 to 5 minutes. Aluminum will cause AC- 12 to form a white foam. When this foam starts to slide, agitate the surface and rinse with water. PRECAUTIONS Avoid skin contact by wearing rubber clothing and a face shield. In case of accidental contact, wash with soap and water. Avoid contact with eyes. If accidentally contacted with eyes, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician. Do Not place AC-12 in galvanized containers. Always use plastic.
